When Emesent invited them to beta test the GX1, Orion brought the same rigorous, real-world lens they apply to every project. Director and Spatial Solutions Manager John Philipp spoke with us to share his team's experience. 

The Challenge

For years, Orion's mobile scanning setup required assembling multiple components in the field: separate GPS receivers, multiple GoPros with their own power banks, custom cables, and post-processing scripts to align imagery and scan data across different devices.
