Capturing a Texas landmark with Emesent GX1 

An important local landmark and a critical link between Dallas and Austin, the historic Waco Suspension Bridge was a standout subject for Emesent's Global Solution Specialist Dr Jeremy Sofonia to scan during a U.S. visit.  

With temperatures hitting 102°F (39°C) on the day, it also made for the perfect real-world test of Emesent GX1 in extreme conditions.

Walking the bridge with a backpack-mounted GX1, Jeremy captured the entire bridge in high heat, with no compromise on data quality. The point cloud was then processed and colorized in Emesent Aura.
