We’re excited to welcome our Partners to an in-depth, hands-on training session at Emesent’s Denver office this August.

Our comprehensive 5-day course includes both classroom learning and outdoor hands-on sessions.

You’ll gain practical experience with Emesent technology and workflows, covering: 

• GX1 & Hovermap STX + accessories
• Vehicle RTK
• Downhole Cage
• LHD Integration
• Backpack RTK
• Mapping to Autonomy with Astro & DJI platforms 

Course Agenda 

📆Monday 3 August
GX1 Classroom Learning & Data Capture 

• Introduction to GX1 workflows 
• RTK / PPK fundamentals and set-up
• Hands-on data capture

📆Tuesday 4 August
GX1 Processing & Accuracy Review 

• Data processing workflows
• GCP, RTK, and PPK accuracy validation  
• Hands-on session using third-party software (e.g. Trimble Business Center)
  • Attendees to bring laptops 

📆Wednesday 5 August
Hovermap STX Classroom & Non-flight Exercises 

• System overview and workflows 
• Downhole Cage operations 
• LHD Integration 
• Backpack RTK use cases 
• (Optional, time permitting) M350 & Astro Max configuration introduction  

📆Thursday 6 August
Flight Training, Mapping to Autonomy (Field Day)

• Location: 347 Rampart Range Rd  (Primary flight training area – approx. 45 minutes from Centennial)
• Flight scanning with Hovermap STX
• M350 & Astro Max flight operations
• Hands-on piloting
• Data capture in real-world conditions
  • Participants encouraged to bring drone batteries if available 

📆Friday 7 August
Hovermap STX Data Processing & Review

• Data processing workflows
• Review and analysis of captured datasets
• Downhole Cage & LHD Integration (if not completed earlier)
