Capturing an indoor-to-outdoor scan in one pass and successfully handing the transition between environments is not something many SLAM-based scanners excel at — unless of course, the scanner uses Emesent SLAM.
Curiosity Labs in Atlanta, Georgia proved an ideal setting for Emesent to put a backpack-mounted Emesent GX1 to the test, scanning multiple floors, hallways, rooms, and closets before proceeding outdoors.
The images below demonstrate the incredible detail captured, as well as the rich colorization achieved using Emesent Aura to process this scan.
